Algonquin’s Fox River Hotel Becomes Casual Living Extended Stay

Crystal Lake, Ill. – 2 December 2002 – The Fox River Hotel, which is located along the east side of the Fox River, has been purchased by J&R Scherb of Crystal Lake, Illinois. The hotel is being re-branded to become a Casual Living Extended Stay Hotel. Casual Living is focused on providing clean, safe, affordable short term living accommodations.

Beyond a change in ownership, the hotel is under new management and significant improvements in furnishings and design are underway. Also, the company has added exterior security cameras and door locks.
